Why do libtards screech for solar power then scream about building the solar fields?
We want solar power
No don’t build in a good spot, sopme stupid desert mouse no one has ever seen might get hurt.
Don’t believe me, check the attempts of California to build solar generation plants.
Don’t forget how Ted Kennedy screeched and blocked them from building a wind turbine in his favorite sailing spot.
Liberals do not want to save the environment or conserve energy they just want to control your life.
Hypocrites. SO much could be done but the NIMBY group stands in the way.

I didn’t know we were doing that. I’ll talk to the others.

Excellent point, I’ve noticed the same thing.

California leads the country in solar generation, it’s just that there are panels on hundreds of thousands of individual roofs, not a big, central plant. A central plant is well-suited to nuclear or other technologies, but there’s little advantage for solar. Also, a central plant can be controlled, and the owner can raise your electric rates. With solar on the roof, the homeowner is relatively immune to rate increases.
I consider myself liberal, but not activist to the point where I’m screaming that everyone must have solar power. I just think of it as an individual decision that makes a lot of sense for many.

Yes, we have panels on our roof.
I agree with Rodrick. A most succinct explanation.
Those who object to solar fields are more likely NIMBYs than "libtards" (an intellectually bankrupt term). Where I live in WA, we have the opportunity for wind energy. Those who tend to oppose it base their objections on sound and view, which causes me to conclude their objections are NIMBY-related rather than political. The areas of my state that are ripe for wind energy lean Republican in their politics. I seriously doubt their politics have anything to do with their objections.
